We're Moving!
Living Word Church, (Eau Claire) has been meeting at 3221 East Hamilton Avenue for the past two years. We have been blessed with an opportunity to begin meeting in a brand-new facility right next door. Beginning on Easter Sunday, (April 24th) 2011 LWEC will meet at the Micron Cinemas auditorium in Eau Claire. To get to our new location, head north on Hwy 93 (Eleva) off exit 89 on Interstate 94 East in Eau Claire. Come join us as we celebrate life in Christ together at this new location!
Living Word Church (or LWEC) began in 2006 as a satellite church of Living Word Christian Center, in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. In 2009 the leadership responsibilities were handed off to Pastor Sherwood who then established it as an independent (affiliated) ministry of Living Word Christian Center.
As a church LWEC has concentrated on equipping its members to live out their faith practically by teaching serious study of the Bible, promoting a life of prayer, and encouraging growth of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Whether in community group studies where adult members meet to better know and serve each other, or in the youth Bible study where teens are challenged to live out their faith with courage, LWEC seeks to foster meaningful fellowship throughout its congregation.
In a world of confusing messages about what it means to live out one's life purposefully, LWEC strives to equip it members with an understanding of how Jesus would have us interact with our world today. LWEC has attempted to clearly define the truths of Christianity by fostering communication between groups of people who do not routinely talk to one another because of ethnic, theological, or social differences.
A Great Place For a New Beginning...
If you are looking for a place where the worship is contemporary, the message is biblical, the fellowship is genuine, and where the people seek to love unconditionally,
come join us at Living Word Church as we experience the adventure of growing in Christ
as a community.
